Dr. Debra Skopicki, MD

Dr. Debra Skopicki, a native Long Islander, received her B.A. and M.D. degrees in the Program in Liberal Medical Education at Brown University in 1987 and 1990 respectively.  After completing a medical internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 1991, she trained in dermatology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions where she served as chief resident in 1994.  Dr. Skopicki next completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Hospital program. She entered private practice full time in Boston while continuing to serve as a consultant dermatologist for the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions until returning to New York in 1997. Dr. Skopicki practices medical dermatology and dermatopathology with Allen Natow MD, Irene Rosenberg MD & Ira Pion MD PC, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She has been awarded the part-time attending of the year award by the dermatology residents of the NYU Medical School in 2010, 2016 and 2020. Dr. Skopicki is a diplomate of both the American Boards of Dermatology and Dermatopathology.  She sees patients of all ages and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology
